NAITAS members are all strong marketing agents and produces 65% of outbound air tickets and 70% of domestic air tickets being issued from all over the country. It also features top inbound players specializing in different markets. It is a very business oriented organization which started the “Travel Market Exchange” in all its general membership meetings that provided actual buying and selling opportunity between the agents and the suppliers. It is also very active in national issues that affect the tourism industry especially the issue on open sky policy. It provides intelligent seminars and educational programs to all its members. It created the very first travel cooperative in the whole world, the Travel Cooperative of the Philippines. It is also the organizer of the only tourism trade fair in the Philippines which is the “Philippine International Tourism Fair” and the very successful tourism consumer fair, the “North Philippines International Tourism Fair.”
