It was launched in October 2001 by the Association of Municipal Health Officers of the Philippines. The program helps establish diabetic clubs all over the country to act as the support group to bring diabetes awareness and lifestyle reforms in the community. Herbcare staff work closely with these clubs, supporting a number of their needs such as: conducting mass aerobics, fasting blood-sugar campaigns, and information-dissemination drives. Herbcare looks beyond just strengthening its own business. We are actively involved in the operations of the Chamber of Herbal Industry of the Philippines, Inc. (CHIPI) to develop the country’s herbal and natural products industry into a true global force. We believe that a strong industry will not only usher in more opportunities to our business; but will also spur economic activity in the country.
