Notice is hereby given that Mitsubishi Electric (Hong Kong) Limited, whose registered office is at 20/F., 1111 King’s Road, Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong (“Transferor”) carrying on the business of providing sales, construction, engineering and installation services of high voltage electrical transmission and distribution system and selling and marketing of semi-conductors, living environment and digital media equipment and other electrical products (“Business”) at its registered office under its company name “Mitsubishi Electric (Hong Kong) Limited”, has agreed to transfer the Business to Mitsubishi Electric Automation (Hong Kong) Limited of 20/F., 1111 King’s Road, Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong (“Transferee”).
Completion of the transfer will take place on 31 March 2023 (or such other date as the Transferor and the Transferee may agree) (“Completion Date”).
The Transferee intends to carry on the Business as a going concern after the Completion Date at its registered office under a new company name “Mitsubishi Electric (Hong Kong) Limited”.
Notice is hereby given that at the expiration of one (1) month after the date of the last publication of this notice, the liability of the Transferee (if any) for all the debts and obligations arising out of the carrying on of the Business by the Transferor shall cease by virtue of the Transfer of Businesses (Protection of Creditors) Ordinance unless proceedings are instituted prior to such expiration.
